The American leg of the journey began on 24th September 2022 in Newark, with the team cycling west across the United States in daily relays. Over 14 riding days, they passed through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, and finally into Nevada. Tackling diverse terrain — from the Appalachians to the Rockies — the team pushed through high climbs and remote routes, including a well-earned rest day on 4th October in Grand Junction, Colorado. The journey culminated on 7th October in Eureka, Nevada, marking the end of an incredible cross-country effort through both heartland towns and mountainous landscapes.
